2023 Sustainability Report

Sensience’s first annual Sustainability Report is a comprehensive reflection of our commitment to responsible business practices. This report serves as a transparent account of our performance in key areas that impact the environment, society and governance. Through detailed metrics, and impactful narratives, we share our progress, challenges and initiatives, providing stakeholders with a holistic view of our efforts to create value. From our environmental conservation measures to social impact initiatives and governance practices, the report is a testament to our dedication to building a resilient and responsible future.

Environmental

Committed to reducing Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 20%, across our entire global manufacturing footprint by 2028

Combined GHG emissions were reduced by 14.6% compared to FY22

Reduced electricity usage globally by 23% compared to FY22

Social

30% of our Board of Directors are women and 30% of those in vice president’s roles and higher are women

Unconscious bias training was provided to all leaders with over 120 participants

Investment in our people to develop them and provide fulfilling careers

Governance

ESG targets integrated in compensation for leadership

Safety in our facilities is number one priority; average TRR rate of last three years is .21

Employee code of conduct created as well as required annual ethics training completed for all employees
