Information Technology Technical Services Technician

Location: Columbus, OH Metropolitan Area (On-site)

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive IT Technical Services Manager that will help develop strategies and plans and lead the implementation of technical infrastructure for the Local Area Network (LAN) and server systems serving the Mansfield Sensience location and applications. The incumbent will also evaluate performance and troubleshoot network and operating systems problems. Business Unit Functions:

  • Provide Microsoft Windows Server support to other North American locations.
  • Provide network switch support to other North American locations.

  • Leverage infrastructure to optimize technologies across the Business Unit.
  • Work with the applications group regarding customization and implementation of server-based software solutions including, but not limited to database security and administration.

Mansfield Location Functions:

  • Responsible for overseeing all Network upgrades and changes including topology, hardware, and copper/fiber connection strategies for both wired and wireless components.
  • Provide guidance, set priorities, and assist in problem analysis and resolution for technical staff.
  • Install and support server operating systems and related components including data storage, backups, and security.
  • Plans, monitors, troubleshoot, and support Wide Area connections, Local Are, and Wireless networks.
  • Implement network security of all layered security products on all required devices (excludes mobile devices and phones).
  • Provide other server applications support as needed.
  • Maintain active directory, GPOs, DHCP, and printing services for the site as well as other non-IT staffed North American locations.

Product Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst that will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing, and expanding Sensience’s financial reporting and analysis capabilities. The person in this role should have extremely strong analytic capabilities, able to perform complex analyses and build detailed reports with little to no supervision. The incumbent should also be able to lead projects as requested, as well as think critically about improvements to financial reporting and processes that could add value to the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, comparing results to budget, forecast, and prior periods. Explain major variations in the context of the business.
  • Assist with updates of full-year financial forecasts on a quarterly basis, coordinating with global controllers and department heads to understand changes from prior forecasts
  • Drive portions of annual budget planning, consolidation, and analysis
  • Drive portions of multi-year budgeting and financial planning

Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic hands-on finance leader to manage the global FP&A function. In this role, the Director of FP&A will be responsible for financial planning and reporting to drive improved business results. We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) accountable for leading operations and supply chain strategy and performance across the global enterprise. Director Global Sourcing

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Director, Global Sourcing who will be responsible for the development and implementation of our short and long term global sourcing strategies for both direct and indirect spend in our high mix, high volume environment. Spend under management is approximately $200 million, with heavy emphasis on fabricated parts, machined parts, electrical components, mechanical components, and plastic resins, used in our manufacturing plants in Mexico, China, and Thailand. The incumbent will oversee relationships with key suppliers and ensure budgets, deadlines, delivery, and costs are met. They will work to deliver annual material cost reductions through sourcing activities and working with engineering on design related or material projects. In addition, the incumbent will support New Product Development and Production launch by working with Operations and Engineering NPD teams.

Position Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement global and regional sourcing strategies consistent with business priorities and objectives.
    • Develop global processes and standards for work for best practice sourcing and management of suppliers
    • Develop supplier quality engineering function to ensure quality expectations for incoming material are met
    • Manage all global material containment actions to deliver the best cost regionalized material.
    • Lead the Commodity Managers in the development and implementation of commodity strategies ensuring budgets, deadlines, delivery, and costs are met.
    • Participate and provide input on the selection and de-selection of suppliers as recommended by Commodity Managers and Buyers.
    • Direct the transition of material sourcing from one supplier to another with the plants and other stakeholders.
    • Coordinate Make vs. Buy decision process with Operations and Finance. Maintain a supply base to absorb outsourcing work.
    • Assure supply base is compliant with international trade and hazardous material handling requirements. Partner with Manager of Trade Compliance and Manager of Environmental Compliance.
    • Effectively Manage a globally dispersed team

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering required. MBA or Masters’ degree in logistics or supply chain strongly preferred

Position Responsibilities:

      • Owns a book of business comprising assigned areas (verticals and/or product families), developing, leading, and communicating clear strategic initiatives to achieve growth and profit targets
      • Holds functional leaders and teams accountable for business area growth and profit targets
      • Owns and leads via cross-functional influence and collaboration in all aspects of Revenue for areas of business including Price, Voice of Customer, Market Readiness, Marketing Plan, Sales, Channel, and Customer acquisition to achieve growth targets

      • Creates, drives, and continuously communicates value propositions for business areas across all organizational functions
      • Works closely with the Strategy Director and Engineering R&D to maintain a clear understanding of the changing competitive landscape to assess opportunities and threats including new technology and competitor entrants into served markets
      • Responsible for executive level reporting and presentations regarding business area
      • Collaborate with customers, external partners and market experts, and internal cross-functional team members to identify and drive growth initiatives via the Sensience New Product Introduction (NPI) Process
      • Ensures business area is meeting not only its growth and profit target but also its cash targets through minimization of days in the cash cycle

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Test Supervisor that would be responsible for providing leadership by directing the work of Mansfield Lab technicians. The supervisor plans, prioritizes, and determines resources to accomplish testing for product qualifications, agency qualification, and other engineering/technical evaluations. They have responsibility for managing the systems and documentation for conducting engineering tests and maintaining consistent test practices, standards, reliability metrics, and documentation of procedures and reporting systems.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership for laboratory activities such as resolution of safety concerns, workflow assignments, equipment PM contracts, equipment maintenance and calibration, lab certification to CTF program, and other related items
  • Achieves and maintains compliance to ISO17025
  • Ensures preventative maintenance systems are in place and followed
  • Ensures good 5S+1 practices are followed in all areas
  • Directs the work of Mansfield Lab technicians, provides performance and development feedback, and other personnel related issues
  • Develops test plans with full understanding of industry standards, test specifications, and reliability concepts
  • Aids with performing DV and PV tests per test plan
  • Prepares formal DVP&R, PVP&R including test timing and reliability metrics
  • Provides support to other departments as needed

Position Requirements:

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 7 years work experience, including 5 years in test engineering
  • Sound knowledge of engineering theory and test practices
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with lab management, test setup and monitoring of functional, reliability test
  • Knowledge of relevant industry test standards such as UL, CSA, IEC, etc.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Human Resource Intern that is interested in learning the day-to-day HR topics & responsibilities for our HQ Location including recruiting, employee relations & policies. This intern will additionally provide support for the production employees in Mansfield. They will interface with all employees to provide excellent customer service and maintain good employee relations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain engagement at the site through communications, events, and training. Handle employee investigations to determine root causes and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Recruit positions at Headquarters. Manage interview scheduling, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers to ensure a superior applicant experience.
  • Administer reward and recognition programs and maintain employee files.
  • Oversee various HR analytics and reports including AAP, etc. labor, and special reports as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Working towards a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or a related degree preferred.

Account Receivable Collections Specialist

Location: Columbus, OH Metropolitan Area (Hybrid)

Position Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist that will be responsible for contacting customers and investigating overdue payments. The incumbent will maintain records to accurately track down necessary payments and escalate cases. At Sensience we offer a flexible work schedule with the ability to work from home up to two days per week.

Position Responsibilities

· Identify and contact customers with overdue payments

· Investigate reasons for overdue payments

· Negotiate payment plans with customers

· Follow up on payment promises

· Maintain accurate records of all collection activities

· Prepare reports on collection activities

· Work with other departments to resolve billing disputes

· Escalate cases to management as needed

· Submit recommendations for Customer Account credit holds

· Work with the Cash Application Team on resolving reconciliation of accounts

· Manage completion of RMA and MCA request.

· Managing Portal based customers (checking status of invoices and uploading of invoices)

· Provide customer service by attending to customer’s requests (SOA and Invoice Copies)

Quality Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an efficient Quality Manager who will work in the automotive sector of the business with a focus on product quality and warranty for the customer. The incumbent will drive root cause analysis and resolution for any customer issues and steer the approach for product quality to ensure warranty targets are met

Position Responsibilities

  • Assures positive customer relations and outstanding customer support by responding and organizing company response to customer quality issues.
  • Develops warranty procedures and manuals.
  • Monitors progress of all open warranty corrective actions and drives completion to customer requirements.
  • Ensures that analysis data is reported to customers within the agreed time frame and in customer-specific formats as required.
  • Follows up and ensures the quality of plant 8D response.
  • Participate in new product launch to complete/lead response to customer quality-related deliverables and ensures early detection/resolution of any issues uncovered during the product launch phase.
  • Analyzes warranty data to identify trends.
  • Write reports and present progress to customers and key internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Supports Go & See investigation activities to understand issues and voice of the customer for No Trouble Found (NTF) reduction
  • Ensure that lessons learned from warranty analysis are communicated across all plants, and product/customer platforms, and captured within DFMEA/PFMEA/CP.
  • Promote the Use of customer-preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six Sigma, Poka Yoke (Error proofing), and measurement system analysis.
  • Develop, optimize, and communicate the customer scorecard in an actionable manner to drive improvement in the business.
  • Inform and advise management on budgetary preparation for future warranty spend.
  • May travel 5-10% to Sensience plants or customer sites.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing quality assurance experience or equivalent.
  • Six Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing skills
  • Experience in a high-volume Automotive Manufacturing Environment.
  • Training in quality systems ISO9001 and IATF 16949
