Mark Sefcik Named Sensience CEO
Westerville, OH – September 2025 Mark Sefcik has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sensience effective September 15, 2025.
Mark brings a demonstrated track record of organic and acquisition growth in both public and private equity-backed companies to Sensience. Mark is joining us from Sundyne, a leading manufacturer of pumps and compressors, where he held various roles throughout his tenure including CEO, COO, President and Board member. While Mark was a leader at Sundyne, the company was successfully sold first to Warburg Pincus in 2020, and following a period of growth and improvement, most recently sold to Honeywell in 2025. Prior to Sundyne, Mark held global leadership positions at Enerpac and HUSCO International.
Mark is originally from Edmonton, Canada and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.
